SERVICES

Wellness

We offer yearly exams, parasites testing and prevention, and more for Horses, dogs, cats, goats, etc.

MICROCHIPPING

We use a smaller needle to help keep your pet's more comfortable. We also offer official USDA identification for livestock.

VACCINATIONS

We carry the most common small animal vaccines for dogs and cats as well as vaccines for livestock including rabies, Tetanus, Equine vaccines and more.

SURGERY

Small Animal: Spay, neuter, mass removal, bladder surgery, laceration repair, and more.

Livestock: Laceration repair, C-section for small ruminants

Health Certificates

Health Certificates for domestic travel within the US (including Alaska and Hawaii).

We do not offer international health certificates at this time.

EMERGENCY CARE

We offer some after hours (nights and weekends) emergency care. Additional fees apply.

Lance Parker, DVM

Veterinarian / Owner

Dr. Parker Grew up in Roy, Utah on a small family farm, where his love of animals grew into a passion as he raised and took care of their horses, cows, dogs, chickens, etc.

He also worked in his father's electrical business as an apprentice electrician where he learned how to work hard and take pride in his work.

After highschool, Dr. Parker served a two year mission for his church in the state of Michigan. Upon returning to Utah, after successfully completing his mission, he went off to college at Brigham Young University - Idaho in Rexburg, Idaho.

While at BYU-I, Dr. Parker met his lovely wife, Melissa Parker and together they have six wonderful children, who often accompany him on farm calls to help out.

After graduating from BYU-I, Dr. Parker attended veterinary medical school at Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine and earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree.

Dr. Parker's areas of interest include equine medicine, small animal internal medicine, surgery, and diagnostic imaging.

Dr. Parker loves being a mixed animal general practitioner because of the variety of animals and their owners he gets to meet.

Melissa Parker

Office Manager / Technician

Melissa Parker grew up in the beautiful state of Washington, on the Olympic Peninsula. She has always been gifted with a deep love of animals as she grew up on a small family farm and loved taking care of and riding her horse, watching over new puppies or kittens, helping out with calves, or playing pick up sticks with her parakeet.

Melissa also served a mission for her church in the state of Arizona and New Mexico.

Melissa attended Brigham Young University - Idaho where she met her husband, Dr. Parker, and as mentioned, they have six children together. Melissa Graduated from BYU-I with a degree in Veterinary Technology.

Melissa has been an indispensable part of Parker Veterinary Services PLLC as she helps on many late night farm calls and takes care of many office duties.

Melissa is only part time as she also homeschools their children and loves being a full time mom.

ABOUT

OUR CLINIC

Parker Veterinary Services PLLC (PVS) is a mixed animal clinic, service large and small animals. PVS was founded by Dr. Lance Parker in September 2022 as a part time, large animal, mobile service. In the summer of 2023, Dr. Parker made the service mixed animal by incorporating small animal medicine as well. And since March of 2024, PVS has been full-time.

Currently PVS offers on-farm services for large animals and has a temporary location set up to see small animals and some large animals.

We are also excited about and looking forward to starting construction on our full service, mixed animal clinic that will offer equine haul in facilities, multiple small animal exam rooms, small animal surgical and dental suites, large and small animals treatment rooms, and more.

And lastly, it is our goal at PVS to treat you and your animals with kindness and respect as we strive to live our slogin, "Treating You Like Family."
